Delivering for clients
Sell Cook as your own product
Five short videos for agencies that run Cook under their own name — your brand, your domains, sub-accounts and your team, your clients' portal, and selling a plan on your own Stripe.
With white-label, your team, your clients and the people who buy your plan see your logo, your colours and your product name, on your own domains, with email from your own domain once you turn that on (see Send email from your own domain). White-label is part of the Agency plan.
Each section below has a video of about a minute, followed by the page that explains it step by step. The videos show a test agency called Acme Growth OS.
Where it lives
Open the account menu (your name at the top of the sidebar) and turn on Agency mode. An Agency tab appears in the sidebar with these pages:
- Sub-accounts — every client workspace your agency runs.
- Portal white-label — how the client portal looks, and its domain.
- Sub-account brand — how the app your team and your sub-accounts sign into looks, its domain and its product name.
- Onboarding — everything a new owner, teammate or client is walked through: the owner setup interview, client intake, the client onboarding wizard and the team walkthrough.
- Plans & billing — revenue and margin for each sub-account.
- Email domain — the domain your email is sent from.
- Apps and Portal journey.
Portal white-label and Sub-account brand both start with a White-label setup list. It shows what is done and what is left: your plan, your logo, colour and product name, the portal domain, the app domain, email from your domain, and replies routed back to you.
1. Make it your product
Upload your logo, name your product, pick your colour and fonts, and check the preview before you save. Step by step: Brand your workspace.
2. Put it on your own domains
Your team signs in on your app domain, your clients use the portal on your portal domain, and email goes out from your sending domain with replies coming back to you. Step by step: Use your own domain for your team, Use your own domain for the client portal and Send email from your own domain.
3. Sub-accounts and your team
Create a workspace for each client business, invite your teammates, and see every sub-account’s numbers in one table. Step by step: Sub-accounts.
4. Your client’s portal
Invite a client to their portal, see exactly what they see, and let them follow their onboarding and message your team. Step by step: Give a client their portal.
5. Sell your own plan
Sell a plan on your own Stripe. Each buyer gets a workspace of their own under your brand, and you see the revenue for each one. Step by step: Sell a plan that includes a workspace. What you may charge and advertise: What you may charge and advertise.
